Dr. Jacqueline Carrasco graduated from the University of Miami, Fl where she received her undergraduate degree and M.D. degree, both with highest honors.  She was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society while in medical school.   Dr. Carrasco completed an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, PA.  She went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. and during her final year of residency she was elected Co-Chief resident by her peers. On completion of her residency, she served a two year    Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Fellowship, also at  the Wills Eye Institute. 

Dr. Carrasco is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology.  She has authored numerous publications in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery.

She is an Assistant Professor at Jefferson Medical College and a member of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Service at Wills Eye Institute.  She teaches numerous medical students, as well as Wills Eye Institute and Temple University Hospital ophthalmology residents. 

Dr. Carrasco serves on the staffs of Wills Eye Institute, Lankenau Hospital, Jefferson University Hospital, and Pennsylvania Hospital.  She maintains special interests in eyelid reconstruction, Thyroid Eye Disease, and Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery. Dr. Carrasco also performs cosmetic procedures such as Thermage, Botox, chemical facial peels, and fillers (Restylane,etc).
